KUWAIT'S PLAN IS TO DEVELOP NOTHING AS AN OIL COUNTRY

Kuwait has a charade that is called a democracy where it is a pure bureaucracy.

life in Kuwait gives me frustration and anger at the same time, alongside the feeling of anxiety after the International Monetary Fund statement that Kuwait's spending habits would surpass the revenues in 2017. This would lead us to a deficit and becoming bankrupt as a country because of the idiocy of the way Kuwait is managed that falls on the shoulders of our unqualified head of government that is only making politics in Kuwait even worse that it already is because of his lack of experience!

Living in Kuwait can be a bless and a hassle at the time. It is a blessing from god that we live in a petroleum country, but it is sad how the government or the decision makers wasted the income that we are having from selling oil in useless places nonetheless what or where are they being spent or directed and it is consuming most of its revenue as a country but with no tendency to develop the country or to diversify the resources of the country's income.

We mainly depend on oil as an income in Kuwait. Oil prices with its availability and its importance is being threatened with the constant studies and the on-going development of alternative energy plans that is non clear in the near future which might lead to the probability of losing the main source of income in Kuwait which would take it through a dark path of the unknown and a great depression phase. One might think/suggest that we go back to pearl diving, eh?

What we need is for the government to cooperate with the parliament for once in their life and not become ministers/head of governments while expecting that everything would run smoothly like it used to be before without being accountable for anything that they might do wrong. The Kuwaiti Government can not work with the same mentality and treat its citizens with the same mentality for more than 50 years as of today. People have changed, democracy have developed, the movement of the way of thinking towards life in Kuwait have also changed. But, the government still thinks and possibly believes that they can get away with what they see fit for them without taking in to account what the population is asking for hence the current rage in the streets of Kuwait. WE NEED CHANGE, WE NEED REFORM.

Change comes from within. So, in order for the government to expect a good treatment and cooperation from the MPs and from the population as a whole, they need to show that they are there to develop and improve the current standing financial situation in Kuwait and not just work as a vacuum for money. This would show that there is work towards development/reform which might gives us hope as a population that our government might actually succeed through applying what they have promised us to do in their so called agenda and that is at least a start in which we can create hope again towards the promises that the government never kept but were born to break every promise they have done.

I can talk for ages but, talking is cheap and actually applying changes are what matters the most to show how much our government is committed and willing to develop and enhance Kuwait's capability of becoming a business hub.

CHANGE AND REFORM WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN KUWAIT AS LONG AS THE DIRECTION OF THE GOVERNMENT TOWARDS POLITICS AND DEALING WITH A CRISIS IS ALWAYS WEEK AND DOWNGRADING; SPECIALLY FOR A YOUNG CONSTITUTION THAT IS DEALT WITH AS IF IT'S A JOKE THAT IS ONLY APPLIED ONCE NEEDED WHILE FORGETTING THAT THERE ARE CONSTITUTIONAL LAWS THAT ARE BEING BROKEN AND STEPPED ON EVERYDAY.

By the way, to refresh your memory or in case you have not heard about what I'm going to say, Please read the following:

- OUR PRIME MINISTER/HEAD OF GOVERNMENT, JABER AL-MUBARAK AL-HAMAD AL-SABAH, HAS AN ELEMENTARY DEGREE
(AND WE EXPECT CHANGE AND REFORM)

The Meaning Of A Propper Best Friend

Hello everyone,

I'm back again to the blogging world for real this time. there will be at least one post  a week to start with and if any new topic came up in my mind I will be sharing a second post in the same week .

This time I'm back for good!!!

I'd like to talk about how much is it important to have a great friendship.

Without my current best friend, I wouldn't have merged in to the man that I am today. No one on earth is perfect but, some people are that hard to get along with. I have a character that is perceived negatively due to some personality traits which makes people step further away one day at a time until they disappear. Though, from all of the people that I have known, only one friend saw the real Abdulrazzaq without the shell and covers that were around me or my true self.

the main reason that made me want to blog again is the appreciation, respect, and the debt that I feel towards my best friend. everyone has flaws but they differ from one another where my flaws are hard to disregard but my friend disregarded them to see what's underneath the shell that I had which kept me away from people in an indirect way; as if I'm pushing people away in an indirect way.

I am a person with flaws in my personality like any other person though flaws might differ from one person to the other. Even though flaws in your personality traits are done or said unintentionally, they can still hurt a person. My main flaws are as per the following: I'm stubborn, lazy, interrupts people a lot while they are having a conversation, very talkative, I rage/get angry or raise my voice without thinking of it and sometimes a blabber mouth where instead of making things better, they become even worse that they are already. These personality traits are not an easy thing to pass and let go of but, my best friend did, and have disregarded them because they can be changed, said my best friend. My best friend also added that if I was not a good seed, they would have given up on  me like lots of people did before.

The best thing about friendship is when there is trust, respect, mutual love & care, and when your friend works very hard to make you a better man or woman. A friend should never lie to you and if they did, they would be confronted because a friendship is a relationship that is built on trust. My best friend amazing character, has the ability to make me conscious about what I say or do that is solving the flaws that I have which I do not mind talking about them freely

Without my best friend that I have met back in December 2009, I would have stayed the same old person that people are stepping away from because people usually judge a book by its cover. The only friend that didn't step away or eliminated themselves is my current best friend which helped me and is still helping me to become a better person and the man that I always dreamed to become.

Thanking a good friend is never good enough. Appreciating the friend that is helping me in all of the aspects of my life is also not good enough, even if you buy all the gifts in the world. What you need as a reader,or what I need in this situation is to give back at least a small piece of what my best friend have offered from emotional support in bad times and the consciousness that my friend provided me with through constantly reminding me on the spot if i have done or said something wrong. One thing I have known for a really long time but I have never actually applied, is to start closing my mouth for a change and to work silently where it is known that you must (تقضون حواءجكم بالكتمان) until my best friend asked me through a specific way that always gets to me and I have started applying it ever since.

Whenever I show my appreciation to my best friend for the daily/weekly/spontaneously advice that were and are still vital which changes and is still changing my personality to the better, I always hear my best friend say: What are friends for? Which means that mutual care and respect is apparent between us and I like that. I thought the world of humanity was coming to an end until I met my best friend at the end of 2009.

Having 1000 buddies and a lot of acquaintances is nothing compared to having one trustworthy friend that actually cares about his or her friends by alerting them on any negative act that you might do or did which shows how much a person cares about your well being. If you have a friend that doesn't tell you or advice you between right or wrong, know for a fact that they do not care about you because only friends that gets angry at you for your own benefits and makes you aware of what you've done or doing are the ones that care about your wealth. If they didn't nag, then they don't care about you becoming a better person.

Id like to end with the following quote:

A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the way you are and helps you to become a better person.

I've never thought in my life that I would be visiting Jordan. I Mean, why should I visit it and I have Lebanon? This year, I decided to go to Jordan just to see whats there and to go to the dead sea! I am there now! the weather is really good, even now you'd have wind chill at night. sitting in the apartment's balcony, smoking Hubble-Bubbly(Arjeelah) just makes your day because of this amazing weather. i'm going to the dead sea on Thursday, and I'll back in Kuwait on Saturday midnight.

Best Warm Regards,

Karim Al-Majadi, a social activist on hunger strike!

ill leave you with his own Video in English and his article in Arabic.

http://www.youtube.com/user/karimktv

Face Book .

how to become a human lie detector

L.I.A.R.
- look to any discrepancies in what the person is saying.

- a person who's not lying should be relaxed, body gestures should be normal.

- a repetitive hand or body gesture might mean that the person is lying such as constantly rubbing their nose or touching their face.

- if a person is lying he/she usually looks left  when they talk because they're making up the story while they're talking.

- i f a person is telling the truth, the eyes would be looking right.

-some people are professional liars, so concentrate to every detail they say, for example if a person says i went to a Japanese restaurant with friends, you have to ask whom are they? if there were some fillers in the sentence such as ahhh ammm you'll know that they just made it up.

- finally, keep on asking follow up questions until you're certain if the person is telling the truth or not.

http://www.al-watan.com/data/20100411/innercontent.asp?val=local13_1

A new Diet

I was at the Dewaniya on Wednesday and a guy is trying a new diet that is working with him. I would like to share it with you, since he took it from well known psychologist, but sadly i didn't get the name of the psychologist. its as the following...

- eat whatever you want

- do not eat unless you're hungry

- stop eating when you feel you're not hungry anymore (don't stuff your self just to finish your plate)

- nothing is forbidden unless you have a medical case like blood pressure, diabetes, etc.

- have small bites and chew'em for more than 20 times

- have awareness while you eat, for example: don't eat when you're watching a movie or not concentrating or what you're eating because you tend to eat more

- enjoy every bit of your food

- do not eat something for any meal just because its the only thing on the table.

- if you want to have junk food, go and have a meal, but eat it while being aware and take your time, you'll notice you're full and you haven't finished it yet!

This life style makes you eat and adapt to eating in a healthy way but not necessary healthy food..

The guy lost 7 kilos in two months and he's eating everything. if you do a diet, you're going to shock your system, and your system will shift in to FAMINE MODE. therefore, you wont lose weight since your system is withholding any food you eat.

im beginning this diet from tomorrow inshalla!

Summer and Drinking Water

Hello everyone!

I'm finally back, after promising that I will be back four months ago. nothing has changed really in my life except i'm trying to be a positive person as much as I can.

Summer is already here, and people are heading to swimming pools & beaches to tan all day long in Kuwait.

Always stay HYDRATED when you're under the sun and keep a bottle of water with you at all time.

Maharish-Ayurveda talked about the benefits of water and why it is essential. I found what was said in PeacefulMoments website, which is a place where positivity, relaxation, and healing are promoted. the following was mentioned as a tip in their front page:

Drinking enough water delivers energy to the body, clarity to the eyes, suppleness to the skin and helps to eliminate toxins Water, when properly absorbed by the body, has several healing qualities:

  1. Helps to remove fatigue
  2. Enhances glow of skin
  3. Prevents constipation
  4. Increases stamina
  5. Provides satisfaction
  6. Helps the heart
  7. Helps digestion
  8. Cooling
  9. Always helpful to the body
  10. Easy to assimilate
  11. Life-giving
  12. Antioxidants

Thats about it i guess for todays' topic....

NEW YEARS EVE AND LATEST EVENTS IN LIFE

I CURRENTLY HAVE NOTHING PLANNED FOR NEW YEARS, LETS SEE WHAT I'LL DO ON THAT DAY!

I know I have been away for a while, this is because i needed a break from everything to re-organize my life. the first step i took is resigning for my current job. I believe that a person should be happy at the job and satisfied. If an employee is not happy, depression phases usually affects the person.

Current state of mind: HAPPY AND POSITIVE ABOUT EVERYTHING.

Enough about personal things.... I'm planning on changing the direction of my blog! I think I'm shifting to be a food/restaurants critique blog, although I'm not yet, so time will tell what I've decided.

I wish the very best to everyone on the upcoming year, and this is me telling you my fellow bloggers that I'm with new and interesting topics..

enough complaining about life as if I'm writing in a daily journal,, my future posts should react with you as a reader, so I promise that I'll try my best to do that.

Till then Blogger heads,

I'm done working

Sitting at home, sleeping all day is better than going to work every single day of the week without producing any single thing there. At least, when you’re at home sleeping, you’re taking care of your health, and giving your body the enough energy needed from sleeping.

Is having a salary is really important than taking care of your health? I guess not. Organizations in Kuwait are still basic, and they need years and years of work to enhance the level of the work field.

It is very important that tasks are assigned equally and according to what each employee job description is.

I think I’m going to have a heart attack if I don’t do something useful at my job in the next few days. I will see how it goes, and will let you guys know what the outcome is.

Warm regards fellow bloggers,

Abdulrazzaq Al-Musallam
